I’d like a copy of the Bible because I have always loved illuminated manuscripts, and this includes that kind of thing. I also love the meditation-like element, which is something I’m looking for in a Bible. I particularly appreciate that it includes elements from multiple traditions, perspectives, and times. It seems like the Mosaic Bible would do an excellent job creating dialogue, which is so necessary for spirituality and delving deeper into the Bible.

So Bryan, while I resent the fact that you think I hi-jacked Katie’s name, I still want the Mosaic. Why? Because it’s awesome! I’ve seen it in action and think it’s an amazing tool in learning the liturgical calendar alongside biblical studies. I’m a HUGE nerd for the liturgy, and I want to try to formulate a new type of liturgy in whatever church I serve, and I think this could help in what I’m trying to do.

I should also win this, because I’m a closet Anglican… and we (closet) Anglicans love some liturgy.

I don’t have a NLT. My home church uses the NLT as the pulpit Bible and their young adult’s fellowship is called Mosaic. Getting one of these will bring back some interesting memories

I want it because I’ve enjoyed the NLT more in the past few years and it seems like it has good material to read with Scripture. It would be a good opportunity to get started with the NLT.
