About Bryan Lilly

Bryan Lilly is a Christian, husband, and certified optician. He is 29 years old, and was born and raised in beautiful southern West Virginia. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism from West Virginia University, and a Master’s of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Bryan and his wife, Samantha, are members of, and serve at, Sojourn Community Church,where they have been attending for over 5 years, and members for over 4 of those years. Bryan serves as a Community Group Coach where his main role is help disciple, coach, and lead several of our community group leaders. Samantha also serves on the worship team, where she sings at the East Campus.

Bryan’s main interests include biblical theology, the doctrine of creation, and theological anthropology (primarily embodiment and place). He also enjoy liturgical theology, including art and architecture, especially where they intersect with a theology of embodiment.
