Welcome!
Hey everyone, and welcome to my new blog here at bryanlilly.com. Many of you are probably more familiar with my old blog “katagraphais,” which I have preserved in its entirety here.
The transformation from katagraphais.com to bryanlilly.com has taken a little over half a year or so. Originally, this blog started out as an academically-focused blog, and focused on research, theology and translation. Over the course of a year I began to blog less and less about those issues in their mere academic form and started to attempt to integrate what I was learning into every-day life in every-day language. This blog is the fruition of that movement.
A Small Tour
As you can see on the right, I have several categories for posts already in place, with a couple more I might add later. As you can see, though my focus has shifted away from focusing on academic posts, I haven’t given them up all the way. Posts under the category “Language & Text” will deal primarily with translation issues, while “Theology” will deal with with all things theological.
If you look to the top right, you will see some navigational links. These will take to you areas of the website that will tell you more about me and more about what I believe. As time goes by, there may be more added.
Below that is a link to subscribe to my blog. Go ahead. You know you want to.
Below that link is another link–this one to my old blog content from katagraphais. The whole of my old blog is preserved there.
Enjoy!
I’m excited to see what the new year brings, and about getting a restart on this blog. I hope that you enjoy the results as well, and hope that you join me.

Welcome to the new domain Bryan! We’ll see if I get to be the first official comment.
Happy New Year!
Nathan–you were indeed the first one
If I had more money I’d give you a prize haha. Happy New Year to you as well!
Nice…
I think you’ve had almost as many blogs/sites as I have and that’s saying something. Just wanted to say “thx” for keeping the link.
Peace.
Marty
I’m getting there… but I still think you’ve got me beat
And no problem, re: the link.
